Battery Conversion to Plug-In

Description

In this class we will be following the method laid out in this video to convert low voltage (5V or less) props to plug in props.

We’ll learn how to determine the current draw of your battery operated props so you can decide how many will run off of a single power supply (basic use of a multimeter). The class will come with a 5V power supply that should be able to power about 10 battery operated props*, Step-down boards available for $1.50 per board, you’ll need one for each prop you plan to convert. You can choose to solder your connections or try out the various options for connectors I’ll bring instead.
